The Minerals Council of Australia (MCA) is pleased to announce its 2015 Minerals Week program. Since 1979, Minerals Week in its various forms has been a platform for public and political advocacy for the industry.
Minerals Week provides a powerful platform for the MCA to debate issues and initiatives affecting the minerals industry. Minerals Week is attended by the nation’s key decision makers, opinion leaders and heads of industry including senior company executives, policy makers, the diplomatic community and an array of market analysts, economists, consultants, academics, scientists and media representatives.
The highlights of Minerals Week are the Seminar and the Annual Minerals Industry Parliamentary Dinner, both of which will be held on Wednesday 3 June 2015.
The theme of Minerals Week 2015 is ‘The Reform Agenda’. The Seminar will focus on the outlook for priority areas of national economic reform including fiscal policy, tax reform, workplace relations and climate and energy policy.
The Seminar will take place on Wednesday 3 June at the Hotel Realm, Canberra followed by the Annual Minerals Industry Parliamentary Dinner in The Great Hall Parliament House.
